What makes Indie Brand Lab unique is all of our formulas are created by the best chemist team in the USA and tested with estheticians to validate real world effectiveness. We are constantly concerned with safety and effectiveness!
The FDA doesn’t approve cosmetics. What they do approve is ingredients it’s called GRAS ( Generally recognized as safe). The FDA does regulate claims that may be marketed as fixing curing, treating medical or other conditions. We make cosmetics and only support cosmetic claims. Any claims that you as a brand owner may make in your marketing that makes the product a drug will be your responsibility.
Each product comes with multiple packaging options that you can choose from.
If you would like to provide your own packaging you can, the minimum to change packaging is 500 units.
You can place a full size sample order directly on your site. You will receive it with a label of the product name and says Sample not for resale.
We have a low MOQ of 100 units! Perfect for new business owners or existing brands who would like to expand their line. We can scale up to whatever size you need for your beauty brand.
There are no set up fees. The price that you see on the site is the cost, plus labels and shipping. The packaging is included in the pricing.

The beautiful thing about beauty is the margins. A general rule of thumb is take your cost x 7 to get your retail price point. Of course consider where you are selling the product and the market to establish pricing.
Here is a general pricing structure but be clear you can go lower or higher than recommended:

- Face moisturizers: $40- 90.00
- Eye serum & cream: $35-70.00

- Mask: $29-$65.00
- Exfoliator: $29.00-$45.00
Absolutely and we are skilled at supporting Amazon sellers. Please notify your account manager that you are selling on amazon and we will work with you to get it to Amazon in a timely manner.
Absolutely, you will be selling under your brand on these platforms.
Our design team is happy to create a label for you. We will collect all of the design information and send you proofs to approve. From there we will print & label your order.
If you would like to provide your own artwork you are welcome to at no additional cost. We provide label template here on the site.
Orders are processing time is 10-14 business days once we have approved artwork and labels printed.
We accept Visa, MC, Discover, and American Express for payment.
If your item was damaged in shipping we will gladly replace or refund the product. You will need to contact us at hello@indiebeautylab.com and send us a photo of the damaged and count and we will get it fixed quickly.
We strongly advise all customers to provide product liability insurance. It just makes good business sense and protects you from any possible lawsuits in case of reaction.
How do I handle it if my client has a reaction? We recommend that you ask them about how they used the product. Get specific information, what order? Did they mix other products? Any other medications that could cause a reaction? Please keep those answers for your own records.
As a general policy, if a customer has a reaction be proactive and issue them a refund. Not every product is for everybody. If it is a recurring problem, please contact us and let us know so we can investigate on our end. We keep extensive batch records and can trace every ingredient in the formula. We don’t anticipate any reactions but with 8 billion beautiful people in the world, anything is possible!
